Battlestar Galactica is a great action-based drama with excellent character development. Thanks to TD, we were able to view this in one long stretch. Yes, it is sc-fi (and on the Sci-Fi Channel), but I think anyone who likes a good fast-paced story will enjoy this series. The other advantage it has is that they already know that the fourth season (airing in Jan. 2008) will end the series. A lot of TV shows push past their prime and become ridiculous before ending. With an end goal in mind, this coulde be one of the best series to date. If you haven't seen it yet, check it out.
